Four issues in - what do you think? What do you want less of? What do you want more of? Have you shared it with others that might find the content useful?

All Geographers
Visual Capitalist
A super source of infographics that all geographers should have bookmarked (and be following via their newsletter, RSS or other social feeds). Some of the recent, useful infographics →
IB DP Geographers
BBC Sounds - Rethink
Global change → Unit 1: Changing population → Changing populations and places + Challenges and opportunities [plus bits from Food and health and Urban environments]
Mentioned by numerous geography teacher sources in the last couple of weeks. I have finally had the chance to listen to them all. Maybe on the longer side of podcasts that I would set for students to listen to but useful to bring your knowledge up to date and explore all sort of ‘possibilities’.

When not thinking about geography, producing geography resources or (heavens forbid) teaching geography I have my ‘ICT Campus Partner’ hat on. This role is focused on supporting staff (and therefore their students) with the efficient and effective use of digital technologies in teaching and learning. I write a (roughly) weekly blog at digitaltechnologies.education that others outside of the International School of Geneva may find useful.

Paperlike, the Screen Protector for iPad: write and draw like on paper
I like my gadgets! However I think better with a pen in my hand. Using an Apple pencil with my iPad works well in that I can later find all my various doodles, ideas, etc. After being a sceptic about such things for far too long I recently added a Paperlike screen protector to my iPad. I have to say it really has improved the ‘feel’ of writing on the iPad.

How do you know what you don’t know? is about spreading some of the things that I am finding useful and sharing it in an easily accessible and digestible way.

The first item will be for all geographers based on bigger ideas and everyday geographies. The idea behind the second item is something that is more focused on the needs of IB DP geographers, educators and students. The item will be linked to the syllabus but other geography educators and students may find it useful too. The third section is a quick update on something I am working on. New content added to, or refreshed on geographyalltheway, something I have recently written, or am involved in. The fourth and final item will be a bit more random. It will be a recommendation. Probably a bit techie, an app, an online service, or similar.

The ‘How do you know what you don’t know?’ newsletter is free, and isn’t (just) for geographyalltheway subscribers. I will try to keep the links to content behind the geographyalltheway.com paywall to an absolute minimum!
