Super geeky this week! A Stream Deck is like an additional programmable keyboard. Each of the buttons is actually a tiny screen so you can choose what is there and how things are represented.
What do I use one for? I have mine set up to a whole range of different keyboard shortcuts that copy URLs and add links to the services I use such as Pocket
, and Trello
. Other buttons trigger screenshots or copy text from images and then adding it to my clipboard. I can control my music, the TV, and the lights in living room. Lastly - I am experimenting with the use of OBS
with online training and the Stream Deck allows me to have different screens/views shared at the click of a button.
